Kispál és a Lovasi

The line-up for Kispál és a Lovasi was created for the event titled Kispál on Orfű in August 2022. On the evening before the great comeback-concert of Kispál és a Borz, András Kispál and András Lovasi, founding members of the legendary band were supposed to perform a duo act; however, due to popular demand they also invited Hunor G. Szabó percussionist and Bence Babcsán saxophonist to the stage.

Kispál és a Lovasi’s concert program features Kispál-songs, but mostly from the early eras of the band, and beside the beloved hits the audience can experience remarkable less-known pieces of their oeuvre. The songs play in their original instrumentation, the trio line-up characteristic of the earlier years fo the group, completed into a special quartet by Bence Babcsán’s exquisite saxophone play.

Spectators of the debut stage in Orfű already know: the name Kispál és a Lovasi means one and the same with the unbridled joy of making music and the memorable songs of a legendary oeuvre.
